Warm Coats and Warm Hearts for Empowering Our Youth

Empowering Our Youth, disABILITY LINK’s advocacy program for youth with disabilities, is giving back and wants you to join us.

We are participating in the “Warm Coats Warm Hearts” drive sponsored by Good Morning America and Supported by Burlington Coat factory.

Please bring a gently used coat for donation to Rashidah Shariff by Friday, December 16, 2011. Your coat will be dropped off at Burlington Coat factory where EOY will receive a 10% discount for a new coat.

That new coat will be given to a young man at the United Methodist Church Independent Living Program whose wish list includes a new coat this year.

This program supports children who are transitioning from foster care to INDEPENDENT LIVING!

To donate a coat, or for more information on Empowering Our Youth, please contact Rashidah Shariff at 404-687-8890 ext 102 or by e-mail at rshariff@disabilitylink.org.  You can also drop the coats off directly to our office at: 755 Commerce Dr, Suite 105, Decatur, GA 30030. Thanks!
